Land, Property, Leases and Tenancies

Land is defined under the Property Law Act 2007 as including “all estates and interests, whether freehold or chattel, in real property”.  Whilst these words are simply put they can easily become contested where there are competing interests in the land and property. This is more so when the land is affected by lease or licences or there is a third party claim such as under the Public Works Act 1981.
